Community is more than just a word to a nonprofit—it is the foundation on which our mission is built. It is the people who choose to care, to give, to volunteer, to advocate, and to stand alongside children and families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Community is the collective heart that transforms compassion into action.

Every day at the Children’s Advocacy and Protection Center I am reminded that our work is strengthened by the kindness and generosity of the citizens, businesses, churches, civic organizations, volunteers, and community partners through-out Catawba County. Your belief in our mission and your willingness to invest in the lives of children who have experienced abuse and trauma make it possible for us to provide hope, healing, and advocacy to children and families when they need it most. Simply put, we could not do this work without you.
