October 1st – Bring Your Bible To School

Bring Your Bible. Share Your Faith.

Bring Your Bible to School Day is October 1!

Every year on the first Thursday in October, students across the country participate in Bring Your Bible to School Day, a simple opportunity to boldly live out their faith at school. Participating can be as simple as it sounds: bring your Bible to school.

Students can read their Bible during free time, talk with friends about what God’s Word means to them, invite classmates to read with them, share Bible verses, or even give a Bible to a friend, as long as their activities follow school rules and do not disrupt instructional time.

Focus on the Family has created a Complete Guide for Bring Your Bible to School Day with helpful ideas, resources, conversation guides, student liberties information, and practical do’s and don’ts to help students prepare.

This is more than carrying a Bible; it’s an opportunity for students to boldly live out their faith and let others see what God’s Word means to them.
