Heart for Lebanon

Dear Prayer Partner,

Pray that our hearts and minds would not grow numb to the constant headlines, but remain attentive to the work of the Holy Spirit unfolding daily in Lebanon. Even in the midst of tragedy, God is moving in real and tangible ways—bringing hope and transformation.

As mentioned in John 20:24–28, Thomas longed for a real, tangible encounter with Jesus. In the same way, the work that we do is a living testimony of that truth, where people are not just hearing about hope, but experiencing it firsthand. Pray that those who feel spiritually weary would encounter Christ in a real and personal way.

These are just a small glimpse of God at work:

  • Manahel (43), mother of five: “In the chaos and fear, God gave me strength to pray for others and find peace again in Bible study.”
  • Sabine (40), widowed mother displaced by war: “We lost everything, but knowing we’re not alone gives us strength to keep going.”
  • Al Omar siblings, H.O.P.E. program students: “Even as bombs fell, we remembered Jesus is in control—and our fear turned to peace.”

Below you will find several prayer request from the field and some of the families that we serve, and we ask that you join us in lifting them up in prayer

adan:
Pray for young Sadan, who underwent eye surgery. Pray that the Lord would touch both her eyes and her heart, giving her patience, strength, and complete healing.

Nada:
Pray for Nada, a Grade 4 student deeply moved by displaced families enduring cold weather, heavy rain, and strong winds without shelter. Ask the Lord to comfort her heart, and to protect every displaced family.

Maria:
Pray for Maria, a young girl carrying heavy fear as she sees families sleeping in unsafe places. She lies awake at night afraid of losing her own home. Ask the Lord to be her refuge and strong tower, replacing her anxiety with His peace and restoring stability to every household in Lebanon.

Zeina:
Pray for Zeina’s family, currently living in a dangerous area under active bombardment. With her husband unable to work after recent surgery, they are also facing the threat of eviction. Ask the Lord for divine protection over their home and supernatural provision for their rent and daily needs.

Samir:
Pray for Samir, who risks his life daily on unsafe roads to secure food for his family. Ask the Lord to place a hedge of protection over his travels, and to provide faithfully for his family’s daily needs.

Heart for Lebanon is a faithful partner of The Bolick Foundation.
