The Middle East and North Africa represent a huge priority for Unknown Nations. More than 430 million precious people live in this part of the world, yet less than 1% are followers of Jesus! Ironically, these are the very places where the early Christian church had its beginnings. Now is the time for the Bride of Christ to re-invest in its birthplace so that the gospel can be firmly established.
A Fulfillment in Prophecy
We believe revival is coming to these countries. Their historically oral culture cultivates an environment where community is highly valued. This makes the audio Bible a perfect tool! Not only is this a heavily oral culture, but it is also a culture largely dependent upon a single language. Arabic is the official language in 22 different countries. We have seen over and over that when one family member responds to the gospel, the entire household becomes very receptive. This enhances our strategy of training, equipping, and multiplying leaders as well.
Pray for the Church to Multiply
Three dozen leaders were recently trained in Morocco through our network. Their Arabic language skills cross over into neighboring countries like Algeria, Mauritania, and Tunisia. Will you pray for these courageous men and women as they step into the harvest field across North Africa?
