| Written by Brooke Helder, GACX Content Creator – I am now in the stage of life where many of my close friends are having children. It has been one of the greatest gifts in my life to meet all these little bundles of joy. Staring into their newborn eyes has prompted my prayer life to grow immensely. I pray for my friends as they raise their new child and for the baby to grow in a relationship with Christ. Holding a young child in my arms reminds me that I am a “child of our Father in heaven” (Matt. 5:45) who loves me, protects me, provides for me, and delights in me unconditionally. Children are the focus of GACX member organization, The Prayer Covenant. They have found that teaching children the Bible has a direct impact on the growth and sustainability of churches in Africa. But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children” (Matthew 19:14, NLT) |
