Sharing the Gospel in South America

Devon Faulkner, a Project 3000 missionary explorer, and his ministry partner Rhett Clarke, spent six weeks traversing through some of the most isolated parts of the Amazon. They spent their time navigating difficult terrain by small plane, canoe, and on foot, and encountered culture and language barriers throughout their expedition.

Despite these hardships, they visited 12 villages, sharing Bible stories and gospel presentations. Their efforts even led them to engage with a couple practicing witchcraft, who showed remarkable openness to the message of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Their journey has opened doors for the ongoing ministry of Project 3000, which is a concerted effort to find the last people groups in the world who do not have the good news of Christ. Explorers are part of a strategy to ensure that every people group can access the gospel.

As we reflect on their journey, we are encouraged by the seeds of faith planted and the partnerships formed.
