Ali, a twenty-three-year-old East African, is from a prominent Muslim family. His father leads an organization devoted to Islamic youth education.
After completing his Islamic theological training, Ali began law school and was on his way to becoming a Muslim leader. Then Ali met some Christians and became interested in Jesus. Increasingly intrigued, Ali began to investigate Jesus on the Internet.
After reading about Christ on one of our websites, Ali sent us an email:
“I would like advice on how to get saved. I am very much willing to convert to Christianity, but I fear that once I convert my parents will disown me.”
We shared how to receive Christ and counseled him to seek out other believers.
To our joy, Ali replied a few weeks later.
“Just last week I went to the pastor of a Christian church and said my prayers. It was a secret move–yet I want to praise the Lord freely.”
We replied to Ali with recommendations on how to grow as a Christian, encouraging him to download our free discipleship resources and begin studying the Bible.
