Throughout my five years at MAF, I’ve always had a desire to feature someone’s journey leading up to joining the organization. For someone who feels the call to become a missionary pilot/mechanic, what does it take for that person to learn the ropes of aviation? And when they are ready to commit to MAF, what does it look like for them to go through Candidacy. That’s the final stage in the acceptance process of becoming a new MAF missionary.
This month, I had the opportunity to do just that! I sat down with Josh and Emi True, and Ryan Vinall to talk about their personal journeys that led them to this point—being accepted as MAF missionaries and beginning to raise ministry support.
