Blooms that Bond

BLOOMS THAT BOND
I love hosting dinner parties for friends and enjoying the laughter, conversation, and friendship. As our friends arrived recently for dinner, they brought an extraordinary bouquet. These flowers were dominated by beautiful long-stemmed sunflowers the size of my hand. Gathered with them were whimsical “fairy balls,” partnered with the sweet fragrance of a spring lily. They were a beautiful creation.

Throughout the Bible, flowers often symbolize lessons about life and faith. Flowers remind us of God’s care, provision, and attention to detail, from the “lilies of the field” in the book of Matthew to the symbolic almond blossoms in the book of Exodus. Much like the people in our lives, flowers reflect unique traits, joy, commitment, love, and purity.

This gifted bouquet wasn’t just a beautiful centerpiece; it became a reminder of our relationships, cherishing each bloom—and each friend—as an irreplaceable part of God’s creation.
