“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.“
(Psalm 16:11)
Dear Friends,
Using our theme verse – quoted above – as a springboard, we’ve asked students to consider how they see “joy in Christ” reflected on the Concordia campus. One student, Josie, finds great joy in the campus community’s routine personal interactions and shared chapel traditions.
“I see the joy of Christ between classes when people hold the door for each other and say hi to passing friends and professors. I feel the joy of Christ most of all when students, professors, faculty members, visitors and anyone who happens to be in Weller all unite their voices in song during chapel. What a blessing!”
Friends, this is an apt description of the Concordia experience and Christ-centered education you help provide through your generous support.
Your partnership matters. It takes all of us working together, contributing the gifts and talents that God entrusts to us, to see that students, by God’s grace, grow, flourish and go on to become a great blessing to others.
As the 2026-2027 academic year begins, I invite your renewed commitment to Lutheran higher education. Let’s move forward together in faith to provide a strong foundation for students who desire to serve God’s church and world.
… Please pray for Concordia students, faculty and staff.
… And please give generously, with thanksgiving to God for the fullness of joy we find in His presence, for His mercies that are new each morning.
