Warmest greetings! Thank you for giving so much to reach countless children for Jesus!

We just returned from northern India Tuesday evening. We had a tremendous trip seeing firsthand our partnership with the My Hope India outreach, founded by the Billy Graham team 20+ years ago. What started as 60,000+ churches has now grown to over 148,000 churches from many denominations! Praise God!
We spent about 4 days with two of the main MHI Regional Directors, Mathew and Roy, who shared details of how the team operates “under the radar” through their vast communication networks. We were in Delhi, and the difficult states of Punjab and Rajasthan. Persecution of Christians has intensified in India under Prime Minister Modi, and pastors and believers have been imprisoned.

We were so encouraged to meet many pastors and children’s workers, and spend time with many beautiful children. The MHI leaders and pastors are laser – focused on evangelism and discipleship. They are reaching precious children for Jesus in the villages, and slums, and even sharing the Gospel with children of “rag pickers.” They know how to operate amid the restrictions and “cover their trails” very well amid the increase of anti-Christian laws.
We had the privilege Monday (July 20) of sitting with 7 pastors from various locations in northern India and hearing their stories of going to remote places to reach people for Jesus.

One pastor has dedicated his life to reaching the unreached Bhil tribe of 12 million people. In 35 years, he’s seen God establish 1,200 churches, and reported 300,000 baptisms! He loves the sound doctrine in The Mailbox Club lessons, systematic Bible teaching, how the lessons are rooted in the Word, and written in a way children can understand.
Another pastor is faithfully serving the Lord in Jammu in the state of Kasmir, about 10 miles from Pakistan. Another was beaten by a mob of Hindus. The passion of the pastors to reach the villages of India was inspiring to me, and I realize I have the easy job.

The needs of India are overwhelming with 1.4 billion people heading for a Christ-less eternity. I believe we are on the right track by reaching the next generation for Jesus Christ and discipling them through the Word of God. Many families come to Christ as a result of their children being ministered to and won to Him!

441,903 volunteer mentors

1.99 million salvation decisions thus far this year. Praise the Lord!

At first glance, these numbers seem hard to believe. But after spending days with MHI Leaders and seeing the work firsthand, I was able to connect dots and understand how this vast team of committed Christians are reaching millions of children for the Savior.

Through your generous gifts, and other donations, we continue to supply this enormous network of churches with Christ-centered Bible studies for children in all 28 States of India! I hope you are encouraged by the news of how MHI network of churches has expanded organically and continues fulfilling the Great Commission!
