Across the seven nations of Southeast Asia where we serve, over 340 million people are considered unreached. Many people live their entire lives without ever encountering a Christian or the Good News of Jesus.
Seng in Cambodia was one of those people. “I was a Buddhist, following the example of my ancestors for a long time,” Seng says. “My family was poor and had no income. My children were always sick, so I went to see a fortune teller and paid him all the money I had to heal them. I ran out of money, so my family faced many hardships. I was hopeless, my children were still sick, and I didn’t want to continue living.”
One day, a group of Christ followers visited Seng’s village and asked the local authorities for permission to preach the Gospel. “I went to listen to these teachers,” Seng says. “When I heard that Jesus has victory over sin, death, demons and Satan, I began believing in Jesus. He truly hears me and helps me through every struggle.” Now, Seng follows Jesus and teaches his family from God’s Word.
Your gifts and prayers help to reach the unreached like Seng. By God’s grace, hundreds of thousands of people are being reached every year through the outreach of our partners.
