I’m excited to share a brief video update from BeMultiplied President Dave Semmelbeck, who recently traveled to Malawi to celebrate the graduation of our first training group there.

In 2018, two of our missionaries began training eighteen pastors and church leaders who were faithfully serving their congregations but lacked access to biblical training. Through God’s blessing and the faithful ministry of these leaders, those original students have now completed all three levels of training and their ministry has multiplied to nearly 300 pastors and church leaders across four generations of training groups throughout Malawi.

Even more encouraging, the ministry in Malawi has now transitioned to local leadership and local funding. A Malawian governing board is leading the ministry, and local funding initiatives are helping ensure that this work will continue for years to come.

This is exactly what we pray for at BeMultiplied: faithful leaders training faithful leaders who will train others also. It is a powerful picture of our vision to establish locally led and locally sustained ministries that will continue to equip pastors and church leaders for generations to come.
