Meet Alexey from Ukraine

Alexey reaches out to orphans in Ukraine. Before the war, his ministry used a campsite where they organized camps and created a carefree space for orphans to feel loved and cared for.

Unfortunately, those camps are no longer a reality. Alexey explains, “Not long ago, the campsite was filled with laughter; the children were running, playing, and gathering to hear about Jesus. It was a place where orphans could feel safe, seen, and loved. But now, after heavy bombing, it is no longer usable. The war has changed everything.”

The war began four years ago, and for many Ukrainians, the reality of it never fades. Loss, fear, and uncertainty are part of daily life. Still, in the middle of it all, Alexey keeps going, because he believes these children need to know they are not forgotten. That even in loss, there is love. That they have a Heavenly Father who sees them, cares for them, and walks with them.

Together with his wife and family, Alexey continues to reach out to orphans across Ukraine. Every spring, they find new ways to gather the children and create safe spaces for them. Even in the middle of uncertainty, they continue to share the hope of Christ.

Your support has made this wartime orphan ministry possible. Thank you!
