GACX Togo Launch

Together we will go. Together we are strong.

Together, we will reach all of Togo.

It is encouraging to see like-minded organizations working together to plant churches for everyone, everywhere. Over 200 church and Christian organizations gathered, including denominational presidents, Africa directors, and senior pastors, spending two days learning, discussing, and envisioning holistic and ethical leadership, collaboration, networking, and national unity – with the ultimate goal of establishing GACX Togo.

In the spirit of collaboration, a five-member leadership team was appointed with a call to action that echoed far beyond the confines of the gathering: Together we will go. Together we are strong. Together, we will reach all of Togo.

Messages on vision, partnership, strategic collaboration, and Holistic Ethical Leadership were shared by Global Church Movement (GCM) representatives, and a new song was composed, “Ensemble, nous sommes très forts! (Together we are very strong!)” in honor of the gathering.

Village Mapping

Village mapping, a strategic tool for church planting, surveys and analyzes specific communities to identify areas without existing churches and to understand the social and spiritual landscapes, with the purpose of prioritizing unengaged people. This tool provides a clear picture of where the Gospel has not yet reached, enabling a strategic, systematic approach to church planting.

God is using strategic mapping tools to highlight areas of lostness and help church planters make informed decisions on where to focus their efforts. Shortly after the GACX Togo launch, iShare, GAAP, and village mapping meetings were led by GCM and national leaders from six countries: Côte d’Ivoire, Burundi, Ghana, Togo, Ethiopia, and Benin.

ACHIEVE Nigeria is a similar initiative that brings churches and church-planting organizations together for village mapping and coordinated church planting efforts. Tariku Fufa Gemechu, Regional Leader for GCM, said, “I am now more convinced than ever that village mapping combined with clear collaboration and strong will can accelerate progress toward fulfilling the Great Commission.”

Together, these moments remind us that unity is not just a strategy, but also a testimony. As leaders listen, collaborate, and step forward in faith, God continues to align hearts and minds, open doors, and accelerate His work across all nations. From Togo to West Africa and beyond, the vision is clear, and the path is unfolding: moving together with humility, purpose, and resolve, there is no place too remote and no people forgotten.
