A Briefing from The Bolick Foundation – June 2025

HIS WILL BE DONE
I remember well the day we became empty nesters. With our three daughters finding their own paths, our once lively home, full of chaos and laughter, became quiet. I did not realize how much I would miss the buzz of activity.

The seasons change. Day changes to night. The world is full of change. Our lives change. Change can sometimes come too fast or go too slow. It can be wonderful, and it can be sad. And sometimes it can even be scary. Author, Abigail Thomas, wrote in her book, “Still Life,” “Here’s the thing, You cannot change the past, but if you face it, both the present and the future will shift.”

Amid all the change and transition, God does not change. His love is always there, a constant source of comfort. Trusting in God means having faith that He is with us, and we can lean on Him for strength and guidance regardless of circumstances. When change occurs, it is learning to say, not my will but HIS be done.
