Reclaim Today, from Our Daily Bread Ministries, is deeply thankful to The Bolick Foundation for their support in developing resources to understand, reach, and disciple college students more effectively. Our new program begins by providing professional research surveys to university leaders to help them better understand the needs of their students. It then applies the research by using the information collected to create spiritual formation strategies to disciple the next generation more effectively.
A great example of how research has created more effective discipleship opportunities can be seen through Reclaim Today’s Friendship Curriculum. According to a national survey conducted in partnership with Dr. Todd Hall of Spiritual Metrics, high percentages of 18-36-year-olds struggle with “belonging” and “loneliness.” The COVID-19 pandemic made this even worse for younger generations. In response to this, and because of the support of The Bolick Foundation, Reclaim Today was able to create a research-informed “Spiritual Friendship” small group Bible study curriculum to equip and empower students to develop deeper Christ-centered relationships.
Along with the “Spiritual Friendship” curriculum, Reclaim Today is also creating small-group studies on Prayer, Bible Reading, and several other spiritual disciplines. Each of these studies teaches about the topic while also providing practical and unique ways to practice it.
These pursuits would not be possible without the support of The Bolick Foundation. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of younger generations, as we help them connect with and follow God in their everyday lives.
Our Daily Bread is a faithful partner of The Bolick Foundation.
