There is no one Jesus can’t save- no one is too far gone or too late in the game! I want to introduce you to a woman who can help prove it to you: Donya.
| After moving to Lebanon to take care of her brother, who had been suffering from severe mental illness, Donya was left alone when he passed away, struggling against economic hardship. Heart for Lebanon’s outreach ministry met her physical needs, providing food aid, but our relationship with Donya grew into much more! She started attending our Bible study, where her love for the scriptures overflowed. “In every Bible study session I attend, I feel that time is short, and I want to listen and delve deeper and deeper,” she says. In the company of fellow believers and the comfort of the Bible, Donya has overcome her loneliness and sorrow, taking on a new purpose in Jesus’ name: spreading the word! There are thousands more women, men, and children in Lebanon like Donya who are desperate for the living hope of Jesus! |
