LEGACY OF HOPE This past month our church kicked off a capital campaign project to repair, upgrade, and create new worship spaces. The excitement peaked at a dinner with over 350 members attending to hear and learn about what is to come. As I listened closely, I learned the project is not about the building, the repairs, or the new worship spaces, but about a legacy of hope. People are searching for hope globally. In my work, I hear about people all over the world trying to find Jesus. People run across borders to hide from persecution for loving God. People listen to God’s word on flash drives so not to be detected that they are followers. My church is my spiritual vessel. I am surrounded by people who hold me up…walking with me, praying with me, and offering Godly counsel. Worshiping together is a privilege, a legacy of hope. Let’s pass it on.
